& Answers
Question- Is A.D.H.D more common
in boys then in girls ?
Answer It was originally
thought that this condition was the more common in boys, however, recent
research is showing that A.D.H.D might be just as common in girls. Many
girls will be diagnosed with A.D.D rather then A.D.H.D. This is due to
girls tending to be less hyperactive than boys. A.D.D is much more difficult
to diagnose - therefore it can go unnoticed for longer periods of time.
Question- What other conditions
are commonly seen with A.D.H.D?
Answer When 2

Defiance Disorder, Compulsive Disorder, Dyslexia, Tourettes Syndrome and

It was once believed that A.D.H.D was a childhood disorder and something
that you grow out of after puberty. We now know that an individual will

that are going through the diagnostic process with their children also
come to realise that they have the condition themselves. A.D.H.D has been
found to be 80% heriditable - as heriditable as height. An Adult will
have the same characteristics of distractibility, Poor attention, low
concentration and forgetfulness . If you think your partner has this condition,
